HORTICULTURAL SHOW.

TO BE HELD TO-MORROW. The Foxton Horticultural Society’s Spring Show will be held in the Town Hall to-morrow and will be opened at 3 p.m. by His Worship the Mayor (Mr John Chrystnll). Admission for non-members will be: Afternoon, adults 6d, children 3d; evening' adults 1/-, children fid. It is anticipated that this year’s Spring Show will be equal to any previously held, and in addition to the attraction held for lovers of nature’s handiwork by the exhibits themselves, Mr Sbailer’s address on “How to grow Bulbs successfully,” should serve as an added stimulus to the attendance. The Foxton Silver Band will render selections during the evening. All willing to help with gifts for the tea-rooms kindly send same to the hall. Mrs F. Procter will be grateful for all contributions. Further donations to the Society’s funds are two guineas from Mr A. S. Easton and £1 from Mr C. Robinson. Exhibitors and others are reminded that it is against the Society’s rules to remove any exhibit before permission has been given. The •steward at each section will be in charge and only the owners or those authorised, will be allowed to claim their goods. Unclaimed goods become the property of the society and will be sold.
