At New Plymouth, Taranaki defeated Wanganui by 23 points lo 13. At Napier, Hawke’s Bay defeated Ilorowht-nua in the Ranfurly Shield match by 38 points to 11. At Wellington, Wellington defeated Otago by 26 points to 6. At Auckland, the New South Wales Rugby team was easily defeated by Auckland, the home team winning by 27 points to 11.
