BOWLING.

A meeting of Committee of the Bowling Club was held last week, when general matters connected with the past year’s working were reviewed, and the finances discussed preparatory to the annual general meeting of members, the date for which was set down as Monday iu\t. The matter of the installation of sewerage pipes was reported on, the work having been completed In within a few feet of the pavilion, firm which point the final connections will he made at a later period. There still remains to be completed portion of the top-dressing of the ladies' croquet court, as well as further attention to the bowling green in anticipation of the opening, which is now drawing near. It is requested that members who can possibly make it convenient to do so will be in attendance at the green to-morrow afternoon and assist in carrying out this work.
