FOXTON TENNIS CLUB.
A special general meeting of members of the above club was held last night. Mr C. Simmons (president) occupied the chair, and there was a fair attendance. It was decided to hold over appointments to the Club Committee until a later meeting. Matters in connection with the forthcoming ball were discussed, and it was decided to hold the function at the end of this month. The following committee was appointed to carry out the details: Misses Beard, Fahey, Neylon, King, Barber (2), together with Mesdames Head, Procter, Pearson, Heasman, and Drs. Wyllie and Rowley, and Messrs Simmons, N. Ross, Bryant and C. Procter.
