ARSON.
A BOY PLEADS GUILTY. Napier, Last Night.
John Gartshore Robertson, aged 1(3 years, was charged at the Police Court this morning with arson, by wilfully setting fire to the homestead of the Smedley estate, Tikokino, on March 25th, when the building was completely destroyed. Accused pleaded guilty, • and was committed for sentence. Robertson admitted to a detective that he set (ire to the house, out of spite, in consequence of differences with the manager of the estate.
