JUVENILE VICTIMS.

In the Legislative Council on Thursday, the Hon. Mark Cohen gave notice to ask whether the attention of the Government had been drawn to statements by Dr. Sandston at a public meeting in Christchurch, to the effect that the most forcible indictment of parents was the report of the committee on venereal diseases, that the average age of people who were attending the clinics was from 18 to 25, and that, lie knew of a child as young as 11 who had been treated in Christchurch for the disease, and whether, in view of these startling facts, the Government would early next session bring in a measure to give legislative effect to the main reeonmiendations of the Commission.
