THE WEATHER.
The Government Meteorologist wires as follows at noon to-day:-Westerly winds, strong to gale, and backing by west to south. The weather will probably prove squally with heavy showers and a cold snap. The barometer has a falling tendency, but rising soon. Seas heavy, tides good.
