UNITED SPORTS BALL.

A well-attended meeting of representatives of the United Sports Club and Hunt Club, presided over by Air W. E. Barber, was held last liight to discuss matters in connection with the forthcoming hall. It was decided to hold the ball on Wednesday, 29 tk iust., provided suitable arrangements could be made with the Council for hiring the Town Hall on that date. It was decided to issue SUO invitations and a committee was appointed to deal with same. A decorative committee was appointed and it was decided to engage a full orchestra. The function promises to be the largest of its kind yet held in Foxton.
