DORCAS SOCIETY.
The monthly meeting of the Foxton Dorcas Society was held yesterday. Present; Mesdames F. Robinson (president), A. Ross, Barr, McMurray and Miss J. Ross. The Secretary reported that two families had received assistance since last meeting, and there were two applications. Accounts amounting to £1 '/ 5 were passed for payment. A donation of 10/- to the funds was received with thanks. Parcels acknowledged from Mrs Renton, Mrs Owen, Anonymous, Mrs Wyllie and A Friend. . - .
