“A first-class show,” was the opinion of those who witnessed the above performance in the Town Hall last night, despite the fact that two of the company were unable to be present on account of sickness. Mr Te Puni maintained his reputation as a high-class humorist and iiis items were deservedly appreciated. Air Selwyn, the “mystery man,” is one of the cleverest exponents of the conjuror’s art we have yet seen locally and his performance was not only mystifying hut included many tricks beyond the orthodox. -Indeed he was a hostiy- > himself. Miss Elsie Prince’s ing and vocal items were much appreciated. The entertainment as a whole was clean, entertaining and above the ordinary.
