SALE OF WORK AND CONCERT.

A sale of work and concert will be held under the auspices of the local Presbyterian Church in the Masonic Hall on Friday, August 24th. The sale of work will take place in the afternoon, to be followed by a concert in the evening. The ladies of the congregation are busily engaged in preparing suitable goods for the various stalls. The concert in the evening will be provided by the Terrace End choir, and will consist of 20 performers. The proceeds are in aid of the church funds.
