FREE EXERCISE BOOKS FOR SCHOOLS.
The Wanganui Education Board lias made arrangements to supply the schools throughout the district with exercise books for a period of throe years—commencing on Ist of June, 1923. These books are being supplied free of all cost to either (lie Board, school committees or teachers. Certain advertisements will be printed on the covers, all of which will have beeu previously approved by the Board. The agreement provides that the annual supplies to each school shall be not less than four times the average roll as at 31st December of the year preceding. The books will be forwarded to schools in quarterly instalments. Any expense in the way of delivery charges in which committees or teachers may from time to time involve will be refunded through the Board.
