THE WEATHER.
The Government Meteorologist wires as follows at noon to-day:- — The indications are for northerly winds, moderate to strong, freshening and backing by west to south. Expect cold and damp weather. Rain probable. Barometer unsteady, but rising after about 24 hours. Sea rough, tides moderate.
