PLUNKET SOCIETY.
The monthly meeting of the :i----bove v. :i< held at the rooms yesterday. Present: .Mesdames Aus-tin-Joluiston (president), A. Ross, Hynes, Trueman, Christie. Chrystall,, WylliCj, Owen, McDonald, Walton and McMurvay (lion, sec.), Apologies for absence were received from Mesdames P. Robinson, Cowley, Pearson and Mrs Ensign Huston. Nurse’s Report.—Visits to Foxton 5, adults to office 30, babies 34; total 04. Visits to homes 7, new cases 3, letters posted 3; 34 lbs. of emulsion were given to mothers. Collection box, 2s lOd. Leave of absence for six months was granted the President. Mrs F. Robinson was appointed to act as president during Mrs Austin-John-ston’s absence. A vote of thanks to the chairwoman and good wishes for a pleasant voyage and safe return was carried unanimously. Mrs Chrystall was appointed flower steward for the month.
