HOTEL LICENSE LAPSES.

HIATUS OF A WEEK,

Dargaville, June 30. A peculiar position has arisen in connection with the renewal of the lirense of the Kaipara Hotel, at. Helensville. At the last meeting of the Kaipara Licensing Committee, the licensee was given notice to have certain repairs canned out, and the granting of the license was adjourned until yesterday. These repairs were not sufficiently completed to enable the committee (o grant the license, and cannot he renewed till next Friday, the day in which the committee lias given the licensee to comply with its demands.
