FOXTON BOWLING CLUB.

A very successful "bee' was held on the green on Wednesday afternoon last, when the work of topdressing the howling- green was proceeded with. This work has new been almost completed, and the next job to be proceeded with is the top-dressing of the croquet court. A "bee” will he held again to-mor-row afternoon to finish this work, and it is hoped as great a number of members will he present as last week. It is encouraging to note that members outside the Committee are taking an active interest in the Upkeep of the Club’s property and it is hoped Lhis spirit will be even more manifest during the remainder of the closed season.
