Rovers 10, Weraroa 0. Foxton 6, Shannon 0. KOPUTAROA (13) V. FOXTON JUNIORS (3). On Easton Park on Saturday, in the presence of a large number of spectators, Foxton Juniors suffered their third defeat this season, this time at the hands of Koputaroa. The local lads were outclassed both in the back and forward divisions. The visitors were a much heavier team. Although defeated, Foxton put up a game fight but could not hold out against Koputaroa's onslaught. For the-local boys, F. Procter, C. Procter, Townshend and S. McGregor deserve special mention. F. Procter registered Foxton’s only try. Mr Neville with the whistle ably controlled the game.

The Foxton Thirds have not beep defeated this season and their match against Shannon on Saturday was a further tribute to their splendid combination. The manner in which they handled the ball and tossed it about among their backs was a revelation. This team is providing splendid exhibitions of the game and are to be congratulated upon their success.

The Senior game Foxton and Hui Mai match did not eventuate. Foxton advised Hui Mai earlier in tho week that they 7 would be unable to get a team, and later when they advised Hui Mai they could play Hui Mai were unable to get their team.
