HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT.
The High Commissioner's cable, dated the 12th inst., reads: “Hemp, Manila market dull, and prices lower. ‘.P grade, May-.filly shipments sold at £32 15s. ‘CI” grade quoted at £35 10/-; output Ist January t<> 7th May 530,000 bales against 330,000 last year, (stocks in Manila 30th April 130,000 against 238,000. London 7,913 against 21,701. New Zealand market dull, nominal values high points £32, fair £3l, Mav.Tuly shipments.”
