S.S. KENNEDY RECEIVES A BUFFETING.
The s.s. Kennedy left- Foxton for Wellington on -Friday night. After ,i short time out she gnemmtered the gaL and heavy serfs-Und made for shelter at To Knihara Bay, Cape Terawbiti. Yesterday morning she sailed for Wellington and on the trip was struck by a heavy sea which smashed the hinacle, railings, ;iml carried away the gangway and did other minor damage. Captain Stuart met with an accident to his log, which, fortunately, was not of a serious nature.
