BOWLING.
A game for the Nye Ferns was played yesterday afternoon. The weather conditions and state of the green were very good, and a pleasant game resulted. The holders, Christie's rink, had no difficulty in retaining the trophies, the resultant scores being 19 —10. Tlie game was interesting throughout, despite the dispartiy in the final scores, most of the heads seeing but one point notched for or against, but a five on one oecassion was added to Christie’s total. The details are as follows : Ball, Ross, Roore, Christie (s), 19; Downes, Parkin, Whibley, Nye (s),10. A visit lias been arranged between Foxton and Feilding Clubs on Wednesday, May 2nd, when it is expected three, rinks will be available from the local Club to make the trip. It is understood this date will see the closing of the Feilding green, and that Club was desirous of Foxton paying them a visit so as not to lot the season go past without this pleasure.
