ENTERTAINMENTS.
TOWN HALL. “THE TIGER’S COAT.” This is the offering at the Town Hall to-night. The picture which tells of a passionate romance of a dark-skinned beauty’s love for a European adventurer, and what came of it, is also an introduction to screen audiences of the famous Italian beauty, Tina Modotti. Every mail .-die met wanted to carry her off and marry her, but she remained true blue although it does not always appear so until the climax is reached. Prices of admission are as usual. ROYAL PICTURES. Now and again old England makes a. picture. There was “Alf’s Button” and “Better ’Ole’’ and now there is “Squibs.” “Squibs” is showing at the Royal Theatre tonight. All the prominent actors of the two above-mentioned pictures will be seen again and the production is full of Cockney humour. It also contains a genuine love story and simply gushes with jollity. Also a Alermaid comedy entitled “Rolling Slones.” Prices as usual.
On Alonday night “Help Yourself” will be screened. It is a fine allround production with a good plot, which is considerably enhanced by a splendid east. The picture is full of fun. Prices as usual. Don’t miss Richard Talmadge in “Lucky Dan,” coming soon.
