ROYAL PICTURES. “Honest Hutch,” starring Will Rogers at the Royal Theatre on Friday night presents something unique in the way of comedy romance. The story is entertaining and holds an appeal that lasts from beginning to end. Tully Marshall is included in the supporting cast. “Honest Hutch” is a character with which we are familiar in every day life. It is an excellent picture. Also “Winning His Wife,” a Jewel Dramaette.
Saturday is laughing day at the Royal when Betty Balfour and a lot of the “Better Ole” characters, including the never-to-be-forgotten Alf. will appear in the great London success of “Squibs.” This and one of the famous Mermaid comedies, “Rolling Stones,” should make Saturday a record night for laughs and fun. Prices as usual. “WHILE NEW YORK SLEEPS.” Under this heading a powerful story of the great city of New York will be screened at the Town Hall to-night. The eight reels of the episodes, each one being related and consequential on its predecessor. The live slurs taking part in the production were specially chosen for their respective parts. The picture is quite out of the ordinary and will provide a good night’s entertainment. Admission charges are 9d and 1/0, children as usual, 3d and od. On Saturday night “The Tiger’s Coal” will be screened.
