HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT. Tim High Commissioner’s cable, dated the Ttli inst. reads: “Hemp, Manila market, dull and prices lower. ‘G* grade, April-. June shipments quoted at £3O Ids, .1 guide £34. Output Ist January to 31st March 373,000 bales against 278.- ()()() for the same time last year. Stocks in Manila at end of March, 123,000 bales, against 230,000 London and Liverpool; 5470 against 17485. New Zealand market is easier in sympathy with Manila. Nominal values spot April-June shipments, high points £33, fair £3l 10s,”
