Ltd. have received the following cable from their London agents, dated lith of April, 1023: “Quotations New Zealand prime Canterbury lamb, 38/42, 12d; North Island lamb, 28/42, 12d; prime Canterbury mutton, 56/U4, 8: } ‘d; North Island mutton, 56/64, B£d; ewes, 48/1)4, G£d; New Zealand prime ox beef, 1(50/220, hinds fid; fores 3sd. “These prices are ex-store. As compared with last week’s quotations, lamb and North Island mutton tire id per lb. cheaper; ewes Id per lb. cheaper; Canterbury mutton id per lb. dearer. Prices for beef are nominal.
