SCHOOL COMMITTEE NOMINATIONS.
Nominations for school committee closed at 8 p.m. last night. The following nominations were received: —Messrs G. C. Coley, E. Cowley, J. K. Hornblow, Jno. Ross, C. A. Pearson, A. Stevenson, R. Rangiheuea, M. Perreau and F. Rimmer. As the number of candidates does not exceed the vacancies, an election will not be held. All the old committee, with the addition of Mr F. Rimmer, who replaces Mr Whibley, will remain in office.
