KILLED AT TAIHAPE STATION.
FORMER RESIDENT OF LEVIN
Wanganui, Tuesday Night. The Wanganui police to-night received word that a fatal accident occurred at Taihape railway station this evening! John Collis, sawmiller; of Taumaranui, while endeavouring to board the Main Trunk express, fell under a carriage and was ’cut to pieces. He was a mar-ried-man, with a family, and was well known at Mangaweka, and formerly lived at Levin.
