Messrs Levin and Co., Lid. have received the following cable from their London agents, dated 23rd March, 1923: “Woo] sales have closed ai their highest point of the series. As compared with the opening sales of I his series the closing sales show: Best Merinos, unchanged; average Merinos, :fd per lb. dearer; line lialfbreds, 50/56’s, unchanged; lialfhreds, 48/50’s, id per lb. dearer; line crossbreds. 40/4S’s, Ad per lb. dearer; medium crossbreds, 44/46’s :}d per lb. dearer; coarse crossbreds 40/44’s Id per lb. dearer; low crossbreds, 30/40’s, jd per lb. dearer.”
