MUNICIPAL MATTERS.
(To the Editor.) Sir, —I am pleased to know that Cr. Smith, in reply to my letter, is in favour of a Municipal Swimming Bath for Foxton, thus endorsing part of the programme which I have in view and hope to cai’i’y out if elected. The Borough already has a section of land now lying idle near the school, which would be very suitable for the purpose so that it would only mean the cost of baths and shelter and I have no doubt the scheme could he made self-suppor-ting without being a burden on the ratepayers. —I am, etc. P. L. HOLLINGS.
