THE HEMP MARKET.
HIGH COMMISSIONER'S REPORT. The High Commissioner’s cable, dated the 17th inst., reads: “Hemp, . Alanila market, quiet and easier. Or grade, March-May and April-June shipments sold.down to £35 10s. ‘G’ grade, March-May shipments quoted at £37 10s. New Zealand market quiet at about quotations already given. Stocks on hand, 28th February, 292 tons against 211 last year.”
