Owing to non-arrival of tar from Blenheim, the work of asphalting Robinson St. footpath has not been completed. This will he done as soon as tar comes to band. Parts of the road in Main St. are showing signs of wear and it is intended to topdress where necessary. Wharf and Union Street footpaths should also receive attention. We have covered sand drift in Brown St. with flax bands and intend planting more ice plant there later in the season. Children play here and pull up the ice-plant put in years ago.
