SATURDAY NEXT.

Nominations for funning and cycling events at the above sports to he held at Sandon on Saturday, the 17th inst., have filled very well. Entries for Higldand dancing will he received up to the morning of the sports. The programme is a large one and a start will be made with the McKelvie Shield at 11 o’clock. The points prizes for this competition are handsome and should create keen competition. Most of the primary schools in the district will be represented. Provided the weather is good the sports gathering will be the largest of its kind yet held in the district.
