DISPUTE ABOUT A WILL.
FAMILY PROTECTION ACT IN-
VOKED. The will of the late Phillip Joseph Idemiessy, late O-L t’uxtoil, at one time a farmer of Shannon, who died in Cliirago and was buried in Wellington, came before His Honour Mr Justice Chapman in the Supreme Court, Wellington, yesterday through an originating summons. The parties were John Joseph Kane Henuessy, farmer, and Catherine Honoruli Henuessy, spinster, the plain tills, and the Public Trustee, defendant. Mr A. VV. Blair appeared on behalf of the plaintiffs, Mr G. Rose i'ur the Public Trustee, Mr H. ii. Cornish lor William Henuessy and James A. Henuessy, sons of the testator, both residing beyond New Zealand at present, and Mi' M. J. Grombie for the Roman Catholic Archbishop oi Wellington, representing certain charities in bequests to which the testator had been profuse.
The'-'plain tilts applied for an order under the Family Protection Act, 1908, making fit provision, as the Court might decide, for their maintenance and support. The estate was valued at £21,000. His Honour reserved his decision.
