ATTEMPTED MURDER. CHARGE.
Masterton, Last Night. Pakira Haeata, an intelligent looking native, aged 30 years, was charged in the Magistrate’s Court with the attempted murder on February 4, at Black Rock, of James Kenrick, a half-caste, who, it is said, was living with Haeata s wife. Accused reserved his defence and was committed for trial.
