On the aggregate Foxton had a win by a margin of seven points, although in the games Levin won three out of five.

The following are the details, Foxton rinks being mentioned first: Ball, Walton, Barr, Bryant (s) 27; Durham, Tf it, Channings, Brown (s) 19. Mattar, Heasman, Walker, Ross (s) 18; Roe, Blackburn, Inder, Wilson (s) 19. Howe, Parkin, Downes, Nye (s) 11; Anderson, Reading, Percy, Harris (s) 19. Thomson, Adams, W'hibley, Admore (s) 23; Clements snr., O’Connor, McCleary, Bull (s) 15. Spring, Healey, Pearson, Smith (s) 16; Pink, Mickel, Ryder, Clements (s) 17.

At the completion of play, Mr Brown, on behalf of the visitors, expressed thanks for the good time the Foxton bowlers had given them, and congratulated the home teams on their win. He also made mention of the generous way the ladies had dispensed refreshments. Cheers were called for the home club, and heartily given, also a cheer for the ladies.

The president of the Foxton Club (Mr Christie) in reply, said it was a pleasure to have the Levin bowlers present, and hoped to be able to arrange a return visit to Levin green shortly, probably in a fortnight’s time.

Members desirous of journeying to Levin on the 21st inst., are requested to post their names on the board at the pavilion. Four or five rinks can be accommodated if available.
