WATER SUPPLY.
GRAVITATION SCHEME FOR SHANNON.
Levin, February 27. The Shannon borough ratepayers carried a loan poll by a seven to one majority yesterday to borrow £ll,000 for water installation. The suplily will come from Mangahao hy-dro-electric plant after the waterlias passed through the generating turbines.
