TENNIS NOTES.

The match arranged with the Manawatu Tennis Club cannot be played this week, and it is proposed to make every endeavour to arrange same to be played on the Foxton Courts on Saturday, 10th inst. - Members are reminded that entries for the Rose Bowl (handicap) Ladies’ Competition and also for lhe Foxton Tennis Club’s Handicap (men’s) Competition close on Saturday next, 3rd inst., and it is hoped a keen interest will be displayed and every opportunity taken for practice in view of the second round of the Country Cup Competition, the ‘Newman Cup and other iixtures proposed to be played off in the near future.
