THE HEMP MARKET.
HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT. The High Commissioner’s cable, dated 24th instant, reads: —“Hemp, Manila market, lirm and good business has been done; ‘G’ grade afloat and February-April shipments sold at £37 10s; ‘J’ grade afloat £35 15s; February-April shipments, £3O. New Zealand fail’ grade met a demand in sympathy with- Manila. Small business reported, £3l and £3l 10s according to position; good fair offered at £34, high points £33, with no buyers.”
