TAURANGA BY-ELECTION.
POSSIBLE CANDIDATES. Tauranga, Last Night. Already speculation is rife as to the candidates who may contest the by-election rendered necessary by the lamented death of Sir Wm. Herres. The name of Mr C. E. MacMillan is mentioned as the Reform candidate, and Sir Joseph Ward is spoken of in other quarters as the Liberal candidate.
