The sensational burglaries committed on the night of January 10th last, when four shops were broken into and goods and cash stolen, and the two attempts made on other premises as well as another burglary last August, were cleared up to-day when two youths named Reginald Cooper and Horace Hartman pleaded guilty to all the charges, and were committed to the Su-
preme Court at Napier for sentence. August Henry Hartman pleaded guilty to receiving the stolen goods valued at £7, from Horace Hartman. He was convicted summarily, and sentenced to reformative treatment not exceeding twelve months.
'All accused are between 17 and 18 years of age.
