FOXTON TENNIS CLUB.
'The line weather on Saturday afternoon attracted a large number of players and a pleasant afternoon, with some keenly contested games, lias created additional interest, and the question of competing for the Newman Cup will be considered by the committee at an early date. The match Otaki v. Foxton will be played on the Levin Courts on Saturday next. The secretary will be pleased to receive th names of all players prepared to make the trip not later than. Thursday. Tennis delegates are reminded of the meeting with the Bowling Club to be held on Thursday evening next. A full attendance is requested. Some irresponsible persons broke into the pavilion recently and destroyed some crockery. Steps are being taken to bring the offenders to book.
