NON-UNIONISTS ASSAULTED.
OFFENDERS SENT TO GAOL. Westport, February 9. Mr J. C. L. Hewitt, S.M., sentenced Frederick Upliam to two months’ imprisonment for assaulting two non-unionist sailoi’s. The magistrate stated that it was the duty of the court to protect all men willing to do legitimate work, irrespective of unionism or nonunionism.
