“THE GREEN FLAME” AND. “OMAR KHAYYAM.”

For to-night at the Town Hall \Warren Kerrigan will appear in a* thrilling detective story entitled “The Green Flame.” This production of six reels was recently shown in Christchurch and was asuccess from the first night. The story embraces the adventures of a detective and his sfiarch for one of the Russian crown jewels which had been stolen by a clever band of Continental .thieves. This production will be shown at usual prices. On Tuesday next, the masterpiece, “Omar Khayyam,” will be screened. This picture'has a reputation which has long preceded it to JJ° x ton, and a Clyde Cook (special) comedy has been secured by the management as a supporting item. It was considered that the securing of a first-class comedy would defer the screening of 'the star item to enable out-of-town patrons to be in their seats at the opening as the first few feet is equally as good as the last. The box plan is filling fast and patrons are advised to make sure of their seats.

WATCH FOR “THE STORM.”

' Easily the best. Norma Talmadge. picture is “The Wonderful Thing” at the Royal Theatre to-night. Do not miss seeing this" popular actress. Comedy, “The Toy Rider.” Extra, ’ “With Stanley in Africa.” Prices as usual. On Monday night “At the Villa Rose,” the Stoll photoplay of mystery will be screened. This picture will draw all lovers of mystery. On Tuesday night “The Storm,” which has long been predicted, will arrive. Josef Swickard, who will be remembered as the father in the “Four Horsemen,” is one of the outstanding personalities of this great picture. It is a Universal production starring House Peters. Other actresses and actors are Virginia Valii, Matt Moore and Frank Canning. Prices 1/- and 1/6, children half-price.
