W. T. JENNINGS, EX-ALP
Wellington, Yesterday
The death occurred in Wellington of All- William T. Jennings, formerly member for Waitomo, aged (it) years. The deceased, who was well known and highly respected throughout (he Dominion, was Jdenlilied with the Dingo Trades and Labour Council in its early days. lie was also identified with the Moderate Labour movement in Dunedin, Auckland and Wellington. He was formerly a member of the Legislative Council, and on the expiration of his term of office, contested the Waimarino seal, in (he Liberal interest, and was elected. When the last
