GERM ISOLATION. New York, February, 3. The Rockefeller Institute announces that two of its doctors, Frederick Oates aud Peter Olitzky have succeeded in isolating the influenza germ. Experiments in antidotes and antitoxins are now progressing. The germ is called bacterium pneumonsintes, because it weakens the lung tissue. It is so small that it requiries to Be magnified one thousand times before it is visible.
