Messrs Levin and Co. Ltd. have received the following cable from their London agents, dated the 30th January, 1923 : • “Wool sales are proceeding, market strong.. The following prices are current for average farmers’ lots: — “Greasy Merinos, 24d to 30d per lb.; scoured Merinos, 4/2; greasy super halfbreds, 56’s, 22d to 2Gd; greasy fine halfbreds, 50/56’s, 21d to 24d; greasy halfbreds, 48/50’s, 17d to 19d; greasy fine crossbreds, 46/48’s 14d to lGd; greasy medium crossbreds 44/46’s, 12d to 14d; greasy coarse crossbreds, 40/44’s, 9-Jd to Hid; low crossbreds, 3G/40’s, 91 cl to 10id; greasy crossbred pieces, 7Jd to B§d; greasy crossbred bellies, 7d to 8d; greasy crossbred locks, 5d to 5-Jd.”
