OBITUARY.

Wc regret to record the death of Margaret, the nine-year-old daughter of Mr and Mrs J. Desmond, which took place at her parents residence, Johnston Street, at an early hour yesterday morning. The little girl bad been ill for several months and up to a few weeks ago was a patient in the Palmerston N. hospital. Upon her return she seemed to brighten up for a time, but quietly passed away as above staled, 'flic cause of death was due to an affection of the kidneys and heart. The funeral lakes place tomorrow at 2 o’clock. The sympathy of the public will go out to the bereaved parents and family in the loss they have sustained.
