ROYAL PICTURES.
A drama in praise of modern womanhood is “Ilail the Woman,” to be screened at the Royal Theatre to-night. It is a master drama of the day's greatest problems—man’s intolerance for woman. Florence Vidor and Theodore Roberts are given great opportunities in this picture to display their great emotional abilities. The other players enact their parts creditably. It is an inspired picture from every angle. Al--o a screamingly funny Mermaid comedy entitled “April Fool,” and “With Stanley in Africa” will be screened as an extra. Prices as usual. Dn Monday night Baroness Orezy's most popular story, “The Elusive .Pimpernel,” will be screened. The picturisation of this well known story should draw a bumper house On Wednesday next Hoot Gibson will be seen to advantage at tlie Royal. Don’t miss this opportunity of seeing this favourite star.
