MR W. T. JENNINHS NOT SATISFIED.

Te Kuiti, Yesterday. Despite his telegraphed contradiction, Mr W. T. Jennings lodged a petition at 12.40 p.m. to-day praying for a scrutiny of all votes cast in the electorate and the voiding of ■ the election. He refuses to .state the grounds of the petition, but it is understood it arises out of the magisterial recount, at which, it is supposed, all votes by declaration numbered some 70 odd, were rejected. *
