TOWN HALL.
Two excellent programmes are submitted for patrons to finish out the holiday week with. The first is a double feature programme headed by Dustin Famum in a thrilling tale of outlaws entitled “Iron to Gold,” seconded by Theda Bara in a story of the South Seas, “A Woman There Was.” In this picture a terrible typhoon destroys a tropical island. On Saturday night “The Submarine Eye” will be shown. This is an eight reel production and was made by the Williamson firm who invented and patented the method of under-water photography. The battle with the shark is most terrifying. We in New Zealand are more or less familiar with smaller kinds of sharks, but the monsters shown in this picture make one relise what terrible creatures they are. The picture as a whole is also wonderfully educative. Usual prices.
