A very, successful pairs tournament. was held on the local green on Christmas Day, the weather beideal for bowling. The Queensland bowlers were defeated by the Canterbury Club. Each scored two and a-half wins, but points were 112 to 105 in favour of Canterbury. The visitors leave for the South to-morrow.
